Victoria 2011

Living as a backpacker can be fun. It also has its challenges…or limitations. My time in Victoria in 2011 was limited to Melbourne, the state’s capital and Australia’s second most populated city behind Sydney.

Strolls along the Yarra River, people-watching in Federation Square and frequent trips to the Queen Victoria Market took up most of my time in Melbourne.

I love going to markets, and visiting the QVM was no exception. Inexpensive food and more ‘stuff’ and ‘things’ for sale than man would ever need.

Melbourne, and Victoria as a whole, has so much more to offer than I was able to explore…this time.
